Thank you for the comments. You are right about my head stock shape on my MG-1 (J-bass). I have always liked M-Man basses and there headstock. I like the point at the end of the head more than the round style of a Fender and that is there signature shape. So I did it for asthetics only and it may way less only by small amount.
Also I liked your write up on the Wal. To bad you live on the other side of the earth from me. I have always loved those basses and have wanted one or at least play one. Send me your e-mail sometime. Check out my latest projects and I hope to have the neck roughed out Sunday.

- Well my name is not the bass builder but John Meyers. I have been building basses for 9 years now.
