- Well my name is not the bass builder but John Meyers. I have been building basses for 9 years now. I enjoy making something from nothing more than a block of wood and to hear it's voice come to life when I am done. I currently offer two models the MG-1 in 4 string, which you see in the header (J style) and the TBM (modern style) in 4&5 string versions which is the bass under construction with the KOA top. I am also building a 30" scale bass (PLM) which I may offer if someone was to want one. Please e-mail me if you would like a quote on having one of these models built for you.
